For the BAT fans on the forum, what do you think is the sweet spot in their line up for each of these products? I am looking for the best value for the money not necessarily the absolute best performer.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Think you listened to the BAT 'tube sweet spot'. If you could listen to the same preamp with the VK-225SE and A/B against the VK-55SE you should be able to make a determination on what many consider the best of both worlds (tube & SS) with a tube pre and SS power. Other than that, think you are home. You might also give a listen to the VK-3000SE, which can be had with a phono-stage. You might find their integrated is best value while giving up very little in performance.
