John Coltrane - Olé



Recorded in '61.
One of Coltrane's masterpieces.
Adding Eric Dolphy (fl, as) and a second bass player to his quartet was a brilliant move.

When you play it in multi-channel, you have to get used to the fact that you land right in the middle of the quintet.
The trumpet is in the right surround channel, and the sax in the left surround.
Good album.
