Tonight I did an experiment with the SGS grounding system in my Triton.

I purchased some inexpensive 14 gauge solid core wire and the push in green RCA plugs (shown earlier here on the thread) and quickly made up three additional ground wires to go with the Venom ground cable I installed a few days ago. Took me about a half hr to cut the wire install the rca plugs and install on my DAC, and tube amps two channels. They’re single chassis but dual mono incl dual mono AC plugs.

Fired up the system and let it warm up a while.

Holy sweet fancy Moses! A whole incredible additional level of detail, depth, instrumental color, pacing, PRaT , depth , clarity and dynamics (my oh my the dynamics!) came forth. [emoji106][emoji106]

I guess when funds again permit which will be a while, I’ll purchase matching Shunyata ground cables to finish this off.
In the meantime the SGS/CGS system is a rather shocking completion to the already off-the-charts reference level of the Triton/Typhon QR!

The only component I have not included yet is the DMP disc drive.

Yes, star grounding to TRITON V3 makes a huge difference. I use their Delta cables ( they have 2 better levels above that!) with great results...

I don’t think people put any emphasis on what you just did, or at least the ones I know - you are removing noise you had no idea was there until do what you just did.

A well grounded system pays dividends, and can be done for next to little.

Enjoy!

Agreed. I posted about this a month or so back...makes a really nice improvement.

Thank you Puma Cat. You have reminded me that I had grounded my system a couple of years ago, had to dismantle it and never restored the grounding when I put it back together...

Does anyone know if the Delta D6 also have this? I see a grounding post in the back and wanted to know if I could do the same thing.
