What do I do????
Nick.......Email Mike at Audio Classics. Most likely there is a series of buttons that must be pressed in a certain order to load the C2300 remote codes from an internal eprom in the HR093. Let us know what Mike says, and post the button code for others to use.

True on the no manual or instructions. Mine works on an older C45, but it is does seem to have a relatively limited angle.

It also works on my MCD500, but I really had to adjust my angle to get it to work.

Wow - so these have to be programmed after receipt it appears. Please let us know how this turns out.

BTW, I could not find this remote on the McIntosh site.

I couldn't find it either. I was hoping for a manual.

If this is the same remote that came with the D1100 which it looks like . All you have to do is select alternate mode on the remote and it will control the C-2300

Received instruction sheet from Audio Classics this morning. Haven't had a chance to try it yet. I would upload it, but that does not seem to be an option on this forum. Holding Select and the number 2 down for about 8 seconds should let it work with the C2300.
