Doug
You are very fortunate. Was it something you made at home or when you ate out?

Doug,...glad you are feeling better and made it back! I had a similar problem in the late 90s in Massachusetts and was down for the count. It can hit that hard...

Third or fourth time this was asked - OP seems disinclined to answer for some reason.

Perhaps it’s because his lawyer has asked him not to name names

Doesn't have to identify product brand or restaurant (if the case). Simply identifying the generic food item shouldn't be an issue, ie: "apples".

I was just wondering since we live in the same general area. We probably eat in some of the same restaurants.

Sounds similar to one of my incidents only it was a roofie. Car theft ring was at afterhours nightclub drugging guys and then walking out with then to their cars (marks were picked in parking lot based on arriving alone and car they were driving). I was sober driver meeting a girl there (parked by myself, Maserati coupe), but bought 1 beer to be social when i bought a round for her/friends. 1/2 way through bottle, room spinning, felt sick, etc. was only scared of dui cause I felt too drunk to drive, got a cab to take me to friends house, had to pull over and puke. Super dehydrated, went to hospital next day after feeling even worse. They did bloodwork to see what I had, levels of heroin in my system. Police report filed and they told me about similar incidents from same club over past few months. Eventually caught the guys doing it. Hospital said symptoms were similar to food poisoning and the roofie was prob a homemade cocktail with who knows what mixed in. Mixture of cramps, nausea, throwing up, dizziness, detached/out of body/trapped in mind kind of hell for hours until I passed out. Can only imagine it would have been worse with poisoning only and none of the feel-good drugs mixed in!

I cant say for sure what it was I ate. I did have chili with onions at a local fast food place.
and a four piece chicken nuggets. I called the local health dept and they said there were no complaints from that place . I met my Mother for lunch there she had the chilli w/o onions and no chicken. So it could have been the onions or the chicken ...but im not sure.
