Unhappy Food Poisoning almost fatal

I had an event and a half on the 17th of this month. I went out about 2 PM
to find a shoe repair place to get the dove tail replaced on my wingtips. I felt what thought was heartburn. I headed back to the office . I started to sweat quite a bit so I took my coat off at the intersection, about a half a mile later I became extremely lightheaded . I swerved off the road and ran something over. note sure if was a rock or the stand of a sign. The noise startled me and I woke up completely . I managed to drive to my Mothers and threw up in the front yard. I made it in to her house and into the bathroom then everything went cattywampus I came to an the floor being drug out by two big Paramedics . I was so dehydrated from expelling whatever it was the Heck out of my system my blood preasure was 80/40. went to the ER was given IV fluids and recoverd within a few hours.

I had food poisoning a few times but never thought I could hit this hard???

Default I've seen a few of those events

I'm glad to read you are better. I've had it one time in 8th grade. It sounds as if you had a vasovagal reaction. (10th cranial nerve) (gag reflex) That happens to some people when vomiting causing your blood pressure to drop suddenly due to the fact your heart is reducing it's rate. If your rate goes down, so does your cardiac output and blood pressure. The fact you expelled most of your fluids didn't help. Thank the Paramedics if you can.

Glad you are OK! I had it pretty bad in Singapore, but not quite that severe.
