Default Quicksilver Audio

>>Mono 120 Tube Amplifiers<<

Received a pair this week. Burning them in now. Nice presentation. KT120s now, KT150s next, NOS input/driver tubes coming soon. No QS mfg forum here on AA, posting here.

Interested in hearing from other QS owners.

I have a pair of original 8417 Quicksilver monos. Very open mid-range. Lovely little amps.

Nice. Those little 8417s are cool. Heard they sound good too.

QS Integrated amplifier. EL84 tubes. Very, very happy with this amp. No desire to look for the next best thing in this class/type of amp. Sounds natural, balanced and neutral within its power capabilities of 20wpc.

The integrated is pretty darn sweet. Great value for the $. When that unit first came out, it caused me to take step back and look again at everything Mike Sanders was offering from QS.

Update#2:

Still breaking in the Mono 120s. Testing KT120, KT150 power tubes and vintage NOS RCA & Sylvania driver and input tubes.

With really good input tubes I've already concluded these amps can operate on an entirely different level of musicality.
