Spitfire: The Plane That Saved The World
Hi Gang, I just watched a wonderful documentary film, Spitfire: The Plane That Saved The World on Apple TV today.
This is a lovingly and beautifully crafted and photographed documentary on what was the most important plane in World War II. It received a *94%* rating on the Tomatometer at Rotten Tomatoes. If you're looking for something to watch on this Memorial Day Holiday, I can't think of a finer film. As one reviewer said: this film is not really about war, but about Britain and its people. Tip: Watch it to the end. The ending is really quite touching and lovely. Highly, highly recommended.
