Just looking at the pictures, could it be over tightening of the internal cable holder where the 2 screws just ripped through the plastic C on each side?

I asked, and asked.
They did not say anything. And I somehow feel that the cable is entirely new. The serial is same however. But I don’t feel it sticky to the touch anymore. My cable was sticky may be due to hot climate. This one is not. Toga |
