Default Is ARC web site still active ?

Don't see any updates for a long time despite many news products were
Already introduced. Not even any news or contribution to WZJ. Or I may missed the new URL, is it still www.audioresearch.com?

Thanks . TOGA

TOGA...yes it's still active. They just rarely update it. Not a focus for them I guess which is too bad. Not sure why they don't

Even the alternative arc website, Arcdb.ws, which used to scoop new products from ARC, seems to have lost interest in updating it's site, though it did pay a tribute to WZJ.

Actually, the ARC website was recently updated with a picture of the ref 250 gracing the homepage.

I too have found it frustrating that ARC doesn't appear to consider keeping their site updated and current a priority.
I find it odd that a company with so many good qualities force folks to search other sources for updates on their own products and upgrades, etc.

Not to long ago, the unofficial arc database site, Arcdb.ws, used to "scoop" new arc products before arc listed the new product in their website. Sadly, this is no longer the case. What I find truly sad is that ARC did not even pay a tribute to it's founder, William Zane Johnson, when he passed away last December.

Agreed That puzzled me as well and did not leave a good impression with me either.

It is pathetic and inexcusable in my opinion. The lack of product updates is weak, the home page REF 250 image link going to the REF Anniversary preamp is horrific, but the audacity to ignore the death of your founder within a reasonable period is a pure abomination. What, didn't they sell enough $25K REF 40s to have an unpaid high school intern with web skills upload an obituary? I'll be quite honest, if I weren't hosting an group of audio nuts in a couple months, I'd sell my gear...it ticks me off that much.

Quite frankly, they deserve to be called on the carpet, and this is just the place to do it...

No one with those qualifications were available, they're all working on the new audiogon site.

But seriously, I agree with the points made here, even though I have no ARC gear. Part of the experience of owning and enjoying things at this level includes a rich web experience, as part of the brand, and wanting to be treated like part of a family.

Although, it was not in their web site but ARC did have an memorial event for their founder at the CES. I do agree that their web site needs updating maybe once a quarter would not take too much resources.
