I'm doing some research and wondering if anyone here has used this brand of wire, specifically the Venusta level?

Just got thru trying Venustas throughout my system, Everything except speaker cable. Thanks Neil!!

First thing that happened when I put it in my system, was everything got quieter. That was very expected from what I read, but on the reality of it happening was yea, this is going to be good.

Venusta's have a lot of "spatial" information, and a physicality to the bass, with out centering on it. I also "felt" like their was more time for the midrange. Since the noise floor got lowered it just let more of the music come out. I think they are definitely worth a listen.

I got the Aqueous, because it was really close to the Venustas on my system. The Venustas has deeper bass, and a bit smoother on vocals, they dont feel so incisive, just more there. I will probably save my pennies and get the Venustas speaker cable over the Aqueous.

I wasn't wowed by them, but I really did hate to return them, and I will be buying more of the purist line. I think they at least should have a listen.

Mark

I'm using PAD cables throughout my system. Currently, I have the Aqueous Anniversary interconnects, RCA and XLR, as well as AA speaker cables. I'm using Dominus power cables (ferox and fluid) on the sources and AA PC on my tuner. In my previous configuration, I had the Dominus PC on my MF Tri-Vista amp and I was using another Dominus on the power conditioner. My new conditioner came with a Synergistic cable and I'm using the stock PCs with my ASR Emitter II. I'm a big fan of PAD cables. They made a big difference in my system, but the power cables with the sources have had the most significant differences.

I have a Aqueous Aurus Praesto power cord and a Canorus Power cord. I'm also using a Venustas Praesto phono cable. I'd like to add some more Venustas cables, as the funds permit. Great cables, but they sure ain't cheap.
