TWK, I had a pair of them and thought them an unbelievably good audio buy.
Definitely under appreciated and even unknown in many audio circles. My fortunes changed so I sold them and now have at home the TAD Evolution One, which is really just a tweaked Pioneer S1EX. You will have to spend 2-3 times what you paid for your speakers to get one that is clearly better overall, rather than better here or there. |

What are the differences between Tad E1 and Pioneer S1 ex ? Bass, medium , high , soundstage , coherence ... ?
Thanks |

I just heard a pair of the Pioneer S1 EX and I concur with all of the sentiments expressed above.
Simply put, a phenomenal speaker by any measure. A worthy hi end product in all but name. Eric |

The differences are less significant than their similiarities... one of them being the fact that both speakers are built in China. At $5K, ok... but at $30K, no thanks
