Yep, if you need a tube for a product purchased from me, I can get it, that is easy. I try to keep stock of every tube for every product I sell for issues where there is a warranty replacement.. or perhaps if there is a time in the future that tube becomes noisy/defective I will sell one. In other other words, I don't 'sell' tubes for outright purchase to be put in a closest for a rainy day never to be used, per se.

So, I take it we have all finished throwing our tubes out of the stroller.
I'm not even going to into whether they were real or fake. ;-)

Simple, send it back to Shindo-San in Japan. Instead of addressing the box to California, you just substitute a Japanese address. It isn't that hard is it? ;-)

Yeah...like Jerome said, sometimes it's hard to get the meaning of things when it's simply written on the Internet, but I was kidding.

That's great news ...

Hopefully in the future all members will remember that "The Friendly Forum for High-End Audio" is more than just a slogan on the banner, but a core tenet of this forum and one we should respect. Right Ivan?

If I want to see mudslinging I go somewhere else.

Some of the words on the thread that Ivan had mercifully closed brought to back nasty memories of another forum where McIntosh aficionados were told that they were a self-congratulating, cultish, kool-aid drinking audiomyopic and misanthropic bunch who never ventured outside their "clan." Might have offended me if I did care about others' opinions, which I fortunately don't .

Matt is great and I am thrilled that he's around (for me and for others.) When one of the tubes in my Monbrison started to make funny noises, Matt helped me diagnose the problem and I had a new tube in my hands 48 hours later. Zero hassles.

Peace and happy listening.

Alberto
