I don't think you should by Pryma as your only headphone, but when you are moving around, traveling and so on its great for that purpose.

So, Pryma is really good when you travel and so.
I also use my pair with the lap top.
And I use it when I speak in the phone. Great sound and they are comfortable.
Mine are going to be strictly for travel I am curious how the bluetooth/amplifier will sound wih my iPad on the plane for watching movies . I do not generally use headphones for listening when I am home because I have a dedicated room far far from anyone in my house

Headphones arrived. So far I have only listened to a few songs streaming Tidal on my MacBook Pro . These are not a audiophile headphone. I would put them in the same category as Bose without the noise cancellation. Honestly so far I can't even say they are particularly comfortable. They don't have a travel case just a soft fabric bag. I will get back with how they sound with the bluetooth attachment.

I am listening to a MQA track from Tom Petty with the wire attached to my MacBook Pro , the sound is accentuated in the midrange, high's are subdued somewhat i.e. no sparkle, imaging is ok but not outstanding... what do you expect for this price? Bass is lacking. It could just be my computer sound card ? I will try the same track with the iPhone then try the Bluetooth amplifier.

Well I plugged the headphones into the iPhone X and the sound is significantly better than what I was hearing from my MacBook Pro ! Listening to Diana Krall it is like she is in the room with me, very much the Sonos Faber sound, yes the midrange is colored in a good way as I enjoy her piano playing and sultry voice. Bass is much better that what I was hearing before but not boomy, a tad on the light side but that is probably ok for the type of listening I will be using it for i.e. travel.

David, no they are not audiophile grade per say but you bought them for travel? Certainly they are really good for that purpose and casual listening! I certainly would enjoy headphones that are more laid back than all in your face with casual listening sessions! Here is a review perhaps it can put things in perspective for you. https://headfonics.com/2016/05/the-p...y-sonus-faber/

Thanks for posting that, I pretty much agree with everything in this review... They are fine for what I will be using them for Fairly compact, non fatiguing. They sound much better with my iPhone than my computer. Still have not tried the bluetooth yet.

I am listening to the headphones now with the airwire bluetooth accessory made by sonus faber and boy is this mandatory. This little $75 mini amplifier significantly improves the sound of these headphone especially on jazz music, bass has more punch, the sound is better. I also like not being tethered to my phone with a wire.

Took advantage of the three day 40% off offer which was advertised on Facebook to get a pair or PRYMAs.
Ordered them (in the UK) at 11 o'clock at night just before the end of the deadline and they arrived 27hours later from Italy, I was pretty impressed.
Now they have had several days to run in I very pleased with them; they do look gorgeous in the carbon/marsala finish and and comfortable and yes they sound very good to me; I'm not a big headphone user and given the choice would always listen with my Olympica IIs but these PRYMAs are enjoyable and absorbing and work well with an iPhone. Especially good at the discount price!
