Default SVS SB 13 Ultra

My SB 13 Ultra arrived today--wow! It is so deep and articulate. I guess the highest praise I can give is that I don't notice it until the music calls for it. (I haven't tried with any movies yet.)

Piano gloss black is hard to photograph!

I have the same sub in my room. Very tight and powerful when it needs to be. Great price/performance ratio

I too have these sub woofers and love them. I use them with my Revel Studios. One of the best things was the help I got from tech support in setting them up. They spent a lot of time giving me the setting for my Krell 707 3D and it worked out better than the "electronic" controls I had on the Krell. It's great when teh company works so hard to support their product.

I also use a pair of SVSound PB13 Ultras with my 802's, LOVE the way these subs bring impact and slam to the music. Couldn't be happier

SVS makes excellent subwoofers, I heard one last weekend was impressed.

If you want to save on space, I still remain that the JL Fathom F113 has the same subjective value and performance in a smaller box.

But for the price of the JLs you could have a bunch of SVS subs!

I've debated for some time on rather to add a subwoofer. Finally I decided to purchase two SVS SB 13 Ultras. I've learned that adding subwoofers affects the entire audio spectrum. Music has an ease to it, more air around instruments, and a more defined soundstage. I don't know how much better JL Audio or REL subs are compared to the SB 13 Ultra, but I'm completely satisfied with SVS.
