The deal on a new set of Clear was good enough that I purchased them as well. Am thinking this will be a long-term comparison. Am hoping that it ends up being a 'horses for courses' result with the LCD-3 for jazz & female vocals and the Clear for classical music (or however it works out). Will be fun to compare planar (am a Magnepan fan - just don't have space for them) to dynamic headphones at approximately the same performance level.

LCD-3s arrived about an hour ago (as did the Clear & WA6). As they are broken-in I plugged into the Bryston and put on Miles, "Relaxin". Wow.......... sublime from the start. Am not noticing too much weight. But, only on for an hour thus far. Amazing detail.
