Looking good Randy. One thought, it looks like your Teac is sitting right on top of your amp. If that's the case I'd consider moving it up the shelf above and stack it with the cd player rather than the amp to make sure the amp gets plenty of ventilation.

You added the Christmas decorations!

It looks great, Randy. I agree with Tony. Give that MXA70 some ventilation space if you can.

I originally tried that, and may try again.

The issue was that because of the side panels the Teac was ever so slightly wider than the CD, but the CD is deeper so it would not sit on top of the Teac. It might look a tad strange, but I will give it another go.

The McIntosh has heat sinks and what not on the rear. The Teac is not as deep so it does not appear to interfere with the Mc's cooling, but again I would rather have the Mc on a shelf by itself.

Then leave it alone for now and check the case temp after you've been listening for a while. It may be OK where it is.

I put the DAC up on top. Maybe it will not look too odd .... if the side panels were not there than it would be perfect fit. I tried removing the panels but the sides were just unfinished metal (as expected) and looked a whole lot worse.

Yea, it looks a ton better with the Teac down with the Mc. The ventilation holes and heat sinks are wide open (the Teac is not even close to them) so I don't believe there will be an issue.

Thank you my friend! It fits our house nicely. Basic compared to a lot I see here, but I am loving it!

I really like the setup! "The loft has quickly become my favorite room in the house " I can understand why.
Enjoy Ed
