A business idea for them would be to offer them in matching wood grain for various speakers. These chairs may not exactly fly off the shelves at $3700 normally but many an audiophile would probably go for it. I'd like to have mine made with Wilson "M" epoxy laminate in Topaz to match the Sasha speakers.

The chair is grossly over priced for someting made of plywood . If it was made of a high quality non veneer wood the price would be about right.

A complex curve like that would have to be literally carved out of a whole trunk of a tree for it to be non-veneer/solid wood. Good luck with that.

That is one slick looking chair. I could put headphones on, and fall asleep in that baby in record time!

Especially when one can say their products are on permanent display in a museum like the Eames. I think the $3700 asking price for the Eames chair and ottoman is reasonable considering the history goes back to 1956 and not some here today, gone tomorrow design that no one will ever remember.

A while back I splurged on an Ekornes Kensington. More expensive than many of my audio components, but so worth it. The most comfortable thing I've ever sat in. You can get some good deals on ekornes online at a store called Lifestyles. I ended up getting mine at a local brick and mortar since they matched the price.

I was recently watching a PAIR of the EAMES loungers on ebay...

2 chairs 1 ottoman... Original and Vintage...

VERY COOL!!!

The perfect thing for a listening room...
