Default Paging PHC1

LOL, I enjoy reading your posts and I thought you might have an interesting take on my question.

So if the universe is expandning, ie the space between galaxies etc.. why doesn’t this expansion effect the physical items held within space. I mean why doesn’t the expansion effect physical objects? Are the objects not effected by the expansion of space? Why are the objects not expanding?

If the universe is expanding and accelerating, then it would be fair to assume that eventually the expansive forces would overcome the local nuclear force holding the atoms together and everything would be stretched until all matter is destroyed. The BIG RIP....

Thank you, so as of now, gravity is preventing what we around us from expanding with the rest of the space.

As far as I understand it, yes. The same force that is preventing our oceans from leaving the surface of the planet as we are hurtling through space at 1040 mph at the equator due to earth's rotation and our own speed around the center of the galaxy at 492,126 miles per hour. In turn the Milky Way galaxy is hurtling through space at 1.3 Million miles per hour... Then we wonder why the FLAT EARTHERS have a problem with all that...
