I was actually surprised how light the Phantom speaker is (22kg). The specs are not
out there for the S7, but the S5 is 86kg and the S7 has an extra woofer so it'll be
near 100kg, if not more. The two speakers have little to compare IMO, they belong to
two completely different segments in all aspects.

Because it's unbelievable I bought them at once. The new Matador is even breathtaking.
But it's not fair to pay so much attention for this brand in a Magico topic. That's why I want to stop in this topic. If one is ever able to hear them, please send me a p.m.

Please forgive me that I am some times to enthousiastic. I know I can exagerate a little. It's also not a joke and I am really a musician/conducter.
I promiss to react less agressive to people who don't believe me.

The first Phantom didn't have the self disigned and own made drivers. This is exept the tweeter. The last is a ..... (sorry I forgot the brand). They are not expensive at all! The designer told me he could not find better tweeters and I believe him.
They were demonstrated with an old Sony ES integrated amp and an old Sony 777 CD player. After that it became a German pre amp and a Mark Levinson power amp. I wanted to buy these speakers, but the designer told me to have patience. He was designing mid-basses of his own.
About 6 months later the new S was ready. Now the sound was more like an electrostatic or magnetostatic( I like big Magnepans for years) speaker. At my home the man tested some different filters. This ones I bought.
By that time I had an Audio Research pre- and poweramp.
Now it's a Spectral pre amp and restaurated mono amps from Dynacord.
All cd's are at the computer now and a Weiss dac 2 does the job. I have several high ress records but even "normal" cd's sound better than many cd-players. F.i. music from Hadouk Trio and Patricia Barber. I have stil plans upgrading the TD124.
Well now you know everything about me

You do realize we are not talking about music here. The term Garbage In Garbage out was first used to try and justify why source components are more important than speakers or amps.
