Good sci-fi flick and it was a remake of a 1956 original.

I suppose throughout the ages people have always had enough imagination to imagine some pretty bizarre scenarios only limited by the lack of histotical record keeping.

The 1918 Alraune film (which has been lost forever now) features a demonic child from “forced union between a woman and a mandrake root” by a mad scientist.

But I suppose the truth and that which we are still to discover is way stranger than fiction in the end.
