I had a listen to the Mom pre, with the monoblocks and Wilson Alexia speakers yesterday. very nice indeed. The build quality is out of this world, however easy to mark

the tone controls +1 and -1 were audible and with the Alexia's, -1 bass and +1 treble was excellent as i found the Alexia treble a little soft/diffuse.

Not having a zero point on the tone controls is a major fault imo.

You can easy bypass the tone control on the preamp and on the remote. When you only want to adjust the treble for example, than you can dial the bass just between -1 and +1. Not the nicest way but it works.
I didn't use the tonecontrol very much the first weeks and still not on 90% of my music, but on some records or Dvd's i do use and like it a lot

inside the external power supply

Single output, but seem to be regulated further in audio chassis.

Turntable....That room looks familiar. Those Kharma's have been sitting there for awhile...Did you listen to them as well?

Are here any users/owners who like the use of the remote of this pre-amp?
