Marc
Have also been following 'closely' your very interesting speaker thread on Sasha vs 802 Diamond vs other quality speaker suggestions from readers who have performed comparisons between them. (in the Wilson forum)

Glad you have reached a conclusion as you've agonised quite a bit on the merits of each unit.

After a while I/we would love to hear about the Sasha and how they go with rock music etc, as your not alone in this consideration.

Anthony

I am going with Carmon Red with black grilles and silver hardware. Should look stunning! And sound stunning.
Great choice! I had a pair of Sashas in Carmon Red as well. Beautiful color in person.

Duuuuuude... I want to see that color combo so bad. How long until you can take delivery??? Please post pics, and listening impressions when you can.

We have the same amp. Are you sticking with that to drive them??

Congrats on ordering the Sasha's!
The Wilsons are so much more involving than most other speakers.
Remember to have patience with them as they will reveal many different layers of sonics as they break in. And subtle changes in position will yield dramatic changes in how they sound. If your dealer is cool, they will come back after 1200 hours or so and tweak your set-up. That's of course unless you are going to tweak them!

Have fun!

I am told one month for delivery.

I am definitely sticking with my MC452 for a while, it's barely broken in! I did my demo with an MC452 and it does pair well with the Sasha's in my opinion.

You are right, I did agonize. Mostly because of the bass I heard in my dealer's room. I went ahead with the purchase because everything else I heard was incredible. I feel pretty confident that the bass will be much better in my listening room.

I will let you know how it does with rock once I get it home and broken in!
