Hmmm....... lots of welcoming posts (indeed....... welcome Victor), but have we actually had a post from anyone at BAT?
Maybe Victor is still composing his opening speech.

Thank you guys, what a warm welcome! I am not a good speech writer, but will be happy to answer all your questions.

And yes... we still make the VK-6200 channels.

Welcome, Mr, Khomenko, glad to have you here. I am new to BAT, and the VK6200 is my first BAT unit among my MC syetem. Getting ready for multi channels setup for SACD music as well as for movies soon. What would you say about this giant in term of its sonic signature for two ch performance. I am kinda using it for multi purposes in my setup, hence to plan installing the 6th modular. Where can I order from? Your input is always welcome and appreciated. thx lot.

Many people are using VK-6200 for music reproduction, we sold a good number of 2 and 4 channel units. I try to be careful when relaying my personal impressions, but I feel it is perfectly at home in such systems.

You can order the channel through any of our dealers. The installation job will require some heavy lifting, but no soldering is required, just a bunch of screws.

Well........ did not really expect a speech. Very nice to have you here.

Is the fact that the VK-300X (in any/all its iterations) is missing from the new website mean that it is gone from the BAT line-up? Do you anticipate that it will be replaced with a new integrated at some point in the future?

Would you mind commenting on the BAT - Music Direct relationship mentioned in another thread?

Yes, the 300x has been discontinued for over a year now.

Regarding the relationship with MD - in any such arrangement there are always some potential difficulties, so I am happy to report that this one is working very well for both parties. Most of the communication and compatibilities issues have been resolved, and the MD people are extremely honest and not in it just for a quick buck.

Seeing this makes me glad that I didn't trade-in my VK-300xSE earlier this year. I'm still interested in upgrading to a VK-32SE or possibly a VK-33SE eventually, but I'll probably keep the VK-300xSE as well - it's a sweet piece of gear.
