Greetings everyone. So glad to find a place where the good people hang out.
Looking forward to learning about how to build a better system, next is better speakers but you know the story. Nowhere to hear anything and so far suggestions have been a bit underwhelming. Biggest problem is room size is only 9' x 12'. Sorry I forgot about the name thing. My first name is Rick or Richard.
I also have a family room HT system, a Living room system and a small system in the library. My primary listening space is a recovered space in the third stall of my garage, all framed in insulated, acoustic treatments, ac and heat. My listening is primarily music with the occasional movie thrown in. Music types range to all types of music with electronic and jazz as primary. I frustrate my wife by enjoying Dubstep sometimes rather loudly. She thinks I should grow up. Phooey, I'm 68 going on 18. Rick
