Adding the amazing Magico M3's to my system. Incredible achievement by Magico.

I appreciate Dan for the Crown tuner and of course Ivan for making the best parts of my system possible. As for equipment, for the main system it has been the VPI Classic Signature, Ortofon Cadenza Black, and Synchronous Drive System, the addition of two JL Audio Fathom F113V2s and Barry Ober of JL Audio coming to the house to set up and also the full set of Stillpoints for the speakers and electronics. Also the complete refurbishment plus new front glass for the vintage (1976) office system by Audio Classics. I am enjoying music in each room more than ever. I am thankful and blessed. But most of all I am thankful that after a few years of searching, Carmen and I have joined a Church that we love. I wonder what will happen in 2017?
Congratulations on finding a church; that could be the biggest upgrade you make.

As for the system, I like the VPI. I read nothing but good things about the Classic series. And though I'd rather they came with a dust cover, I wouldn't dismiss getting one should my trusty HW-19 Mk. IV die anytime soon. Emphasis on "soon."

My best upgrade is far more modest: the simple replacement of a WW Electra 7 PC on my preamp with a Transparent HPPC. The reason was a problem with the IEC grip (documented in a separate thread), and after a Shunyata Venom 3s improved the grip but seemed to roll off lower frequencies, the Transparent put them back big time. Not just extension but a bit more detail, it sounds like so far. All this from a 1m, $230 PC. Pricewise, it's not much of an upgrade because the WW is $10 more, actually; but the result is an upgrade and I'll take it.

For me it was going from an BlueSound Node, to Lumin T1, what an amazing upgrade.
A little less. was going from an normal ethernet cable to AudioQuest Cinnamon, it was impressive.
So next i think will be a Powerstrip with a better power cord from the wall...just using a very simple power cord and a powerstrip from the supermarket , ha ha i know.

Getting to the early environs of the mid range with my first dac/amp de Sony. Getting a very tasty glimpse of the Utopia. Your undisputed Low-Fi king is having a slooooow abdication.

Moving from ordinary direct-radiating loudspeakers to horn-loaded loudspeakers in the HF and MF.

Hard for me to pick one component as I have literally changed every component including the room and house where my system is located.
So I would say that having a dedicated room for my 2-ch. system is at the top of the list right along with the good fortune of being able to have what I do.
