Default Can you name some cars you missed out on
That are worth a fortune now. I'll start:

1974 Daytona coupe all original with low mileage. This was early 80's. Could of bought the car for 50k. I'm guessing it's worth 600k today.

1970 440-6 cuda. All original needing restoration. This was around 1985. The guy wanted 7k. I figured restored the car is worth 175 today.

1970 fully restored Superbird. Asking price was 30k. This was mid 80's. I'm guessing the car is worth 200k today.

1970 super bird too non restored 440 auto car, and 67 gtx 426. 4 speed
I did get me a 70 Cuda shaker hood car

Not a car, but I am still kicking myself for not buying a recently restored series C Vincent Black Shadow in 1963 for $1200. The owner was a fellow college student who needed the money for school.

You mentioned a few you did not buy or missed out on.

1969 Z-28
1988 Turbo cab

All of these guys were sold before the big run up in prices.

'66 427 Corvette... I was 17 (1976), my dad was in the car business and a woman (mother) had it in a barn as her son went to Vietnam and didn't come home. It was pristine. I had the money / loan approved, test drove it and in the end my dad said no that he thought I would kill myself in it. Ended up with a nice car '73 Formula Firebird 455.

My brother-in-law almost bought a new 1964 289 Cobra but decided $6,000 was too much to pay for a car that didn't have real side windows.
