Default Vt50

Hey guys, I am picking up a used (previously loved ) VT50, just to play around with tubes. My understanding is that the unit was refurbished and re-tubed at ARC and has only about 100 hours on it since.

A couple good friends that I trust know the guy and vouch for him! One actually directed me towards him since they knew I wanted to play around with tubes, but with minimal expense.

So what do you guys think of this older amp?

I think you got a great deal on a solid amp.

Thank you guys. I am so looking forward to playing with this ARC amp. I will keep the Ampzilla for the times when we are having a get together and need the amp to just pump out....

I re-arranged the rack, moving the Mc tuner to the top to give a ton of breathing room to the amps. Should make a very easy switch out ...

Did you buy new tubes to roll through it yet? There many possibilities to keep you thinking!

I have not received the amp yet, but from my understanding it was completely re-tubed by ARC! I have not thought about rolling tubes. I think I need to get the unit and play with it a bit before thinking about that ....
