For what it's worth, I'll share my recent experience upgrading my Super Gen 5 speaker cable to Ultra Gen 5. I was pretty happy with the Supers but needed a different length and figured I might as well upgrade at the same time. My initial impression was that the Ultras had slightly more bass energy but overall not a big change. I wasn't expecting a night and day difference but was a little underwhelmed and worried that I may have wasted some money. I believe in cable break-in but was skeptical that it would make a significant improvement. After about 4 weeks of break-in, I did my first real listening session and to say the least, I am very happy with what the Ultra Gen 5 speaker cables did for my system. Worth every penny IMO.

Ok Gang,

I NEED YOUR HELP!! I've got just about a complete loom of TA Ref XL MM2 cables tying my system together. The last holdout is my digital cable. It's an Analysis Plus Reference cable. I have the chance to obtain the TA Ref XL Digital cable to complete the Matrix. Has anyone had any experience with TA Ref Digital Cables. Thanks in advance, my audio comrades.

Alas, I'm in upgrade mode again. Not quite ready for Gen 5, but have a chance to upgrade my current digital to TA Ref XL coax. Any experience with TA digital products?

I just purchased a ref xl bnc to go between my clock and spinner. Out of the box, simply amazing. Lowered noise floor dramatically and allows micro details to come through. I love the change so much, I ordered another to go between my Aurender and K01x. Crazy expensive...yes but also crazy good!

I have been very pleased with the transparent cables I have recently added.
Over time I plan to add a few more.

Default Speaker Cables - Spades or Banana

I have loaner Transparent Reference XL speaker cables from my dealer. Needless to say these are massive heavy cables. Was just wondering, if I order banana termination, will the pins stand up to the stress of the heavy cables? Looks like they would just snap off if not properly placed. What do you think? Does anyone have banana ends?
