NWCgrad,
Welcome! You will find LOTS of two-channel enthusiasts on this site, lots of McIntosh enthusiasts as well (like me!) and lots of helpful info posted as well.
I'm from Maryland as well, Mount Airy.

Mount Airy is just a short drive away from Frederick. I play golf every Wed at Rattlewood in Mount Airy as part of a golf league.

I plan to take my McIntosh gear to an authorised repair shop as during storage/shipment from Singapore the terminals developed a lot of oxidation. Seems prudent to get them checked out, and tuned up if necessary.

I live just a hop-skip-jump from Rattlewood, used to play there a lot, until I tore up my knee.

I have used Gramophone in Columbia, bought stuff there and had them service stuff too, probably the best I've found in our area.
