These amps power my Maggie 20.7's with ease. They'll change your mind about your 1.6's. Maggies just love power - and a lot of it.
But aren't they class D amps?

Well if they are pushing your 20's then I'm convinced, not only that once I get them I would think the 3.7's would be a nice upgrade to where I stop thinking about box speakers.
Thanks

Absolutely. Clean, quiet, cool - smoothest and most powerful amps I've ever owned - regardless of price.

Should have been on here a few months ago...I gave away my mint 3.6's that had been stored for 15 years in original boxes!

Oh well.

Nope, but I have heard many class D amps and they work great for subs, not for 2 channel. I also have a buddy who bought some W4S and said they were the worst sounding amps he's ever owned. Hence my reason for not having bothered with a demo. That's great that you enjoy yours, that's why there are multiple amp companies still in business, to each his own.

You should demo and yes I do enjoy mine - Anyway, now that we cleared that up, let's get back on track with stonecobbler.

Absolutely. Clean, quiet, cool - smoothest and most powerful amps I've ever owned - regardless of price. They also offer a 14 day in home trial so you can demo them.
