I wasn't trying to bury the JBL forum under another name, I was just trying to figure a way to give owners of Revel, Levinson, Lexicon, etc., a place to discuss their gear. There are some members here with said gear,and really,that was my only intent.

A Harmon International forum is a good idea. You are right, it would create a cozy home for the afore mentioned companies.

I still believe each brand should be treated individually as interest warrants. Just as us JBL fans like a dedicated forum, so might owners of the other fine brands. In addition, while many of these owners may be aware that the particular company is owned by Harman, some may not....why should they have to search for their brand that is buried in a bucket forum?

Just my $.02 worth....

Pete. I was thinking of this just today -- I have 3 components that are in the catch all bucket within the forum titled -- "MBL, dCS, Goldmund" and believe it could be reevaluated and some items off onto their own (maybe 4 when I consider the SME).

For instance there are more dCS owners on AA than another manufacturer of which garnered it's own forum within the last week.

I can't remember the last MBL & Goldmund owner who has been a regular participant.

Just sayin' and agreein'.
