Antique audio...anyone else?
I was wondering if any other members might also be collectors of gramophones or phonographs like me. I've been collecting these wonderful old pieces for over 20 years now and really enjoy listening to the records. (i have well over 1000 titles on disc and cylinder).
Here's a few pics of my collection... This is a Victor VI from about 1904...my pride and joy. This is Edison Triumph cylinder phonograph from around 1910 This is a Edison Disc phonograph from 1920. Plays 1/4 inch thick flat records. Here is a Victor Credenza from 1925. It has a six foot exponential folded horn inside. Specifically designed to play the first electrical recordings. Hope you enjoy seeing these classics from the past. Cheers, David |
