They are saying Dark Knight Rises will not surpass The Avengers in dollar sales, even if it sells more tickets. All in part to the not being shown in 3D. I like and very much respect Nolan for this election. Choosing the path which is most true to his art, while knowingly turning down millions in the process.

I just read this morning that Rottentomatoes.com has removed all comments regarding 'The Dark Knight Rises'. ...Because it was very bad what some people were saying to the reviewers who had negative reviews about this film.

This is the first time EVER that they had to remove all the comments regarding the reviews of a movie!
The staff at Rottentomatoes just couldn't handle the deluge of comments. ...Quite a shockwave what this movie's reviews provocated!

Saw it today at IMAX. IMAX is the way to go just for the sheer screen size and IMAX sequences. Unfortunately it was a little "boomy" in the soundtrack (hopefully that was just our auditorium?).

Anyway, my wife and I loved the film and the 2hrs 45min flew past! I thought Bane was awesome and Anne Hathaway was also very good. Not sure that I can say much more except that we both thought the last 5min were fantastic. Didn't know whether to laugh or cry or what???

Would love further discussion with spoilers once a few people have seen it but go and see it.

Was planning to see this tonight w/the wife on a dinner & a movie outing, but after the event that just ocurred in Colorado, I'm passing on attending for the time being.

I give it a rolling grade up to an A. (Imax) Boomy at my Theater also.

Anyone moving in the Theater got the Harry eyeball. You can't help but think of the victims.
