I bought the Analogue Productions DSD digital download. Still a DR of ~4.
It sounds crystal clear, it's just fatiguing and a tad bit compressed despite a huge file size. It could be a flac rerip of a CD for all I know (honestly, I don't really know how to tell the difference)
The DR of 6 or more sound more realistic, with 9 being awesome. I'm going off of Zoon's DR rating, not loudness war's rating.

I've got that one and like it, a lot, but read the AP is better. With a DR of 4 that seems impossible. FOUR???? I really have a hard time imagining that.

I'm not sure what file type AP has for this title, so I'm not sure if this applies... But if you're playing through your Oppo 205, try the Linear Phase Fast filter (my favorite, not bright/fatiguing, entirely natural sounding to me) or try Corrected Minimum Phase Fast, which rolls off the high end if bright or fatiguing sound is system related.

I know it doesn't do anything to mitigate recordings with ultra low DR values, but maybe it'll make them more enjoyable.

Zoon DR =/= loudness war DR

I think Roon is on a scale of 1-10, Loudness War maxes out at 48? That can't be right, but if I sort by DR the highest is 48.
