Jaxwired.......Great to hear you're pleased. I have been using solid silver jumpers for a couple of years now. About six months ago I reinstalled my factory bronze jumpers that came with the EB1i's and immediately heard the midrange and top end shrink, like someone had turned both the midrange and tweeters down a decibel or two. I returned the solid silver jumpers and regained a level of clarity and resolution that the bronze jumpers just don't deliver. I'll never go back to the bronze jumpers.

I brought down all the gears to new audio room here are some new pictures. ( Ordered some panels )

Paul.......It's looking good. To improve the focus of the Seas tweeter (a very good tweeter) you might try towing the IB2i's just a bit more into the listening sweet spot. The room's acoustics will definitely improve when you begin installing your acoustic panels. I'm following what you are doing so keep us posted.

When you find something REALLY better, the break in process won't change big differences.
Paul did not loose time and that is indeed a good thing.

Yeah, but how many speakers came in-between the PMC and Tannoy? Ha!

Hi Paul, can you tell us some differences that made you prefer the Tannoy over the PMC? Also did you find the PMC better to your liking than the Harbeth 40.1?

Thanks!

Hello! I am new to this forum, so...I can't post new threads. Therefore I am "hijacking" this one...hopefully it's not a problem, as the topic of my question is very much related.

I have just purchased a pair of PMC IB2i, and I am planning to drive them with 3 Linn Klout amps, in tri-amp mode. I also have the option to sell the Klout amps and buy another amp (e.g. Bryston), but I really like the Klout (I used them on other speakers though...Triangle Lyrr and B&W 803s).

Just, I wanted to know if anyone had previous experience with IB2i and Klout.

Thanks

Lorenzo
