DAC module in 088

Can anyone speak of the optional DAC module for 088. Is it good? Probably not as good as the DAC section of 089. How does it Compare to 113 or 061?

No idea how it compares to the 113 or 061, but not only didn't I use mine, I took it out which I think improved the performance of the 088.

It is a convenience item in my opinion, and not up to the quality of the 088. To be fair to Burmester, I think this is how they view it too.

I preferred a Metrum Octave to it, and a Berkeley Alpha DAC 2 was in a different league.
