When the two are compared to one another, one can see that Russound took the dual-source speaker controller concept a bit further by placing an independent speaker switch next to all six speaker pairs/zones. The Pyle PSLSW6, on the other hand, has one "master switch" that sends one or the other source signal to all six speaker zones. In my mind, the Russound controller gives the user a bit more control not only over which source is selected for any desired speaker pair, but, in doing so, they've also given the user more control over the load being applied to either audio source. I've never used or operated anything like this, however, so perhaps I've got it all wrong. If anyone would care to advise on the pros and cons of such a dual-source setup, we would be very grateful for the help. Thanks very much for your time...
