Default The ultra rare SMc VRE-1 preamp
Dear AA members,


A simple question for you all. Has anyone a short term (ie. Audition at a retailer) or long term experience with SMc the former VRE-1, or 1B, or the newer 1C hybrid passive (transformer based) / active preamplifier?

Moreover, do you know any guy or shop selling one of this ultra rare unit?

If you wait til CES, Genesis and Steve Mac are releasing the Genesis SMc-1 preamp.

supposedly voiced a little different to the SMc VRE-1
