Default Do u adjust the Tone Control?

Hi just to check if u guys adjust the Tone control or keep it a neutral?
Pls share your experiences?
I like the sound with Positive Treble and Bass about +6 each.
I spoke to my friends and most seems to prefer to keep it at neutral for natural sound.
Am I dialing in too much?

You should use whatever settings maximize your enjoyment of the system. In my opinion there is no right or wrong with using tone controls.

Sometimes. I boost the bass/mid-bass when playing at low volumes with the loudness button. And when I’m in the mood for 70’s and 80’s rock cd’s, I reduce the treble.

The fact that most true high end gear have no tone controls should tell you something.

As I've upgraded my preamps over the years (decades...) I found less of a want/need for the tone controls. Certainly don't have a problem with them though. Like others have said - if you like adjusting the treble and bass then do so!

I use the tone controls on my C52 preamp but ever so slightly.

Haha, me too.
There are some bad recordings that could be tamed a bit by them.
Good recordings though don't need them.
