Default McIntosh isolation and anti vibration ideas

Want to share some experience of isolation and anti vibration solution of my setup.
I faced some distortion problems when listening my TT on higher volumes, and find out that when to put cartridge on the platter without spinning and put the volume of C52 preamp about 80% and then making knocking by the foot to the floor, bass speakers in B&W802D start to move, making loud knocking sound from the speakers. I understood that I need two things:
1) Isolate my speakers from the Floor
2) Isolate my MT10 from the rack.
After Internet surfing and visiting Munich and Warsaw high-end show this year my choice was Stilpoints and Nordost isolation devises.
First came Stilpoint:

Then I started to install. With amps and clamp everything is clear. But to make effect greater I put an acrylic 1,5 thick platform between MT10 and Stilpoints

Then a lots of tests, and conclusion the isolation with Stilpoints under TT is not enough. You need to add an absorption effect to completely eliminate the distortion. Then at the high end show I have found Townshend company which produce very nice and effective devices. I have ordered one set with yellow springs which suits my TT weight. The effect was great and the test that I mentioned in first post was passed perfect.

Andrew , that looks impressive . And hopefully the sound also improved with all those devices. Many interesting things.

Hi Andrew - No doubt you drank the Kool-Aid, many cool pieces!

Stillpoints and Nordost are very complimentary.

Curious on what you hear with the QRT additions?

Happy New Year!

Attendance at audio shows do that to oneself. An awesome collection of tweeks - not a bad one in the bunch.

Best Sir & enjoy,

Bob

Andrew
Have you tried the Stillpoints on the MT10 without the acrylic base?
