HI

The SP4 is going to be much more expensive than the SP3 and unless you need all these new features there is no need to move from the SP3.

Good to know--thanks!

Will there be any appreciable upgrade in sound quality?

Why did you decide to go to a room correction program?

No the sound quality will be similar.

Thanks! I'll be keeping my SP3 and upgrading it when I go to a 4K display.

Oh, I'm sure he'll get the message.

Anyway, I'm not interested in that unit, but I like to keep abreast of happenings.

Hi moonhawk,

It was not my choice and I have partners and got outvoted.

What I have come to realize is that its not about what I think is best its about what the dealers, distributors and customers want. By not having room correction as an option most retailers and especially Custom Installers boycotted the SP3.

I am still opposed to room correction as I know how much it screws up the Sound Power of the loudspeaker but it seems like I am alone in the wilderness on this one.

You've pretty well convinced me over the years, and I'll be keeping my SP3. I like to keep it simple.
