HI
The SP4 is going to be much more expensive than the SP3 and unless you need all these new features there is no need to move from the SP3. james |

Will there be any appreciable upgrade in sound quality? Why did you decide to go to a room correction program?

Thanks! I'll be keeping my SP3 and upgrading it when I go to a 4K display.

Oh, I'm sure he'll get the message.
Anyway, I'm not interested in that unit, but I like to keep abreast of happenings.

Hi moonhawk,
It was not my choice and I have partners and got outvoted. What I have come to realize is that its not about what I think is best its about what the dealers, distributors and customers want. By not having room correction as an option most retailers and especially Custom Installers boycotted the SP3. I am still opposed to room correction as I know how much it screws up the Sound Power of the loudspeaker but it seems like I am alone in the wilderness on this one. james |
