RIP Windows 10 Mobile
Microsoft is no longer developing new features and hardware for Windows 10 mobile as the operating system is officially placed into servicing mode, no new app development, only bug fixes and security updates.
I don't know anyone using a Windows 10 mobile device, although I checked a few out when I was shopping for my Samsung Galaxy S7. Windows on a phone just didn't do it for me, and obviously I'm not alone. Even Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates revealed he is using an Android phone. The same is true for Microsoft's Corporate Vice President in the Operating Systems Group Joe Belfiore who revealed in August that he uses the new Samsung Galaxy S8 and switched to Android for better apps and hardware. RIP Windows 10 Mobile.

I use one, provided by my employer. Luckily we are going to switch to android. That day cannot come soon enough. Using this OS is pure mental torture.

Too bad the device can't be made to run Android apps like some of the older BlackBerry phones. I've done that with my BB10 OS, although I'm planning on getting a new BlackBerry that will have Android on it.

Thanks Dan. I love the looks of the KeyOne with the Snapdragon 625. There is also an all black version available. I'm temped to wait for one of the two new ones coming out. One named the Motion which won't have a keyboard, but will also have the 625 and a 4,000mAh battery.

Tony.......Yep, the keyboard on the KeyOne is there primarily to appeal to the hardcore Blackberry aficionados who have had years with it on the older Blackberry phones. The newer Blackberry Motion is essentially a KeyOne without the physical keyboard, adding the 4000mAh battery and IP67 water-resistance. Both phones are running a customized Android 7.1 operating system with the same security-focused apps intended to make it business and privacy friendly. It looks like retail will be in the neighborhood of $460.00 when it finally hit the U.S. market.

I remember when Microsoft had to loan Apple money to stay alive so Microsoft wouldn't be accused of having a monopoly. Enter Steve Jobs comes back to Apple after Skully nearly killed the company with Apple clones. Within a short time , the multicolor iMac, iPod, iTunes were out. The iPhone business of Apple alone now is bigger than Microsoft. The Apple Watch makes more money than Rolex. My point is Microsoft has not been the same since Bill Gates retired

Tony.......The Blackberry Motion looks really nice. Can't beat that 4000mAh battery, and water resistant is a real plus.
