I enjoyed it. It isn't much of a departure from the top gear formula. That's a good thing from my point of view, but I suppose it might be cool if it was very different.

They have a live audience as before, except now they have a big tent that they travel around the world with. That's the biggest difference. They have a new track in England which is much more interesting... More turns and road hazards. It is called the "eboladrome". You can watch for yourself to see why.

It's still campy, maybe more so.

They test several cool cars, I'll stop here and give you guys a chance to watch before I spoil it for you.

Oh, I will add that it's still very funny and features top notch visuals. Amazing camera work.

It's pretty cool in 4k HDR, that's for sure.

I might have to become a Prime member even if it's just to watch this show.

I think these guys are a bit played out.....as much as I have always loved Top Gear. They seem to be trying too hard with The Grand Tour.

After watching the first 5 episodes, I am a bit lukewarm on it. On some shows they don't even track test a single car! It seems like a weaker version of top gear, not a more compelling version. The "adventure" bits are similar to the old top gear, but they are kind of taking over the show. Last night's episode was proof that it's getting worse, not better. Ugh. Here's a good autoblog review which I agree with. http://www.autoblog.com/2016/12/16/t...e-five-review/

I really want this show to succeed and I'll continue to watch, but so far I'm a bit disappointed.

It is not supposed to be Top Gear 2...
