I was looking at this amp as well as the Classe M-600 and Pass XA200.5 to replace my ARC DS450 and drive my Salon 2s. They demoed the D'Agostino along with the ARC Ref 5SE (which I own) with the Alexias and the combination sounded fantastic. That's what did it!
Mike.......I read your post about the Dallas trip, visiting Mark, and enjoying the dealer audition. Sounded like fun. Those dealer demos can really burn a whole in your wallet sometimes. Even though I think the Classe M600 mono's are decent amplifiers, the D'Agostino and Wilson combo is the cat's meow. I also like that the Alexias speakers and the D'Agostino stereo power amp are made in the USA. Here's to many wonderful hours of listening pleasure. . . .

You are so right Debby!

The story about the shirt goes back to RMAF2012. When Wilson launched the Alexias at last year's event, Debby gave me a Wilson Audio shirt featuring the Alexias. I told Debby recently that detail also influenced my decision...

I can't begin to express how big an upgrade of the Salon2s the Sasha W/P would have been, let alone the Alexia!

Once they're broken in, especially with that amp, how are you going to get anything else done?

Did you listen at Audio Concepts? I heard their Alexia setup a few days ago while I was in town. They had it paired with the A'gostino Pre-amp and stereo amp. Sounded fantastic!

B - That's the place and setup. Although, I listened with the ARC Ref5SE (not the D'Agostino pre) since that is what I own.

Thx!
