The QSonix addresses a couple of the main drawbacks of the SooLoos (inability to burn discs and output 24/192 files). I just wish they would work on the industrial design of the touch screen a bit. Jim |

Now that you can use it with an iPad, I don't think I'd even bother with a touchscreen. Just keep a cheapie monitor and mouse in the closet in case you need to do any system stuff. Much more convenient to have it on the couch!
For me the ability to burn discs is a moot point, I'd never use that. And though the newest version of Sooloos software claims 24/192 capability, it's not working on mine yet. I agree with you wholeheartedly there. The purpose of a music server to me is the ability to have ALL your music in one spot.... |
