Default $1000 DAC trade-in credit for PWD!

GREAT job PS Audio!

Email from PS:

If there is a new wave in high end digital, the PS Audio PerfectWave Transport and DAC are on the crest. The transport is an optical disc reader that reads to its solid state memory before outputting the data to a DAC. There are all sorts of good reasons why this is a better way to go, and as you might expect PS Audio goes into this in great length on their website.

The new PerfectWave DAC not only services the PerfectWave transport or anyone else’s transport, but also functions brilliantly as a wired or wireless Music Server. Rather than recap here, we encourage you to take a look at the summary on our website of the Transport and DAC and Music Server, or for more complete information and descriptive videos for each product, go to the PS Audio Transport Pageand the companion DAC and Music Server page on the PS Audio website.

Once you do you will want to know about a great trade-in offer for orders placed now through June 30, with shipments scheduled to start in May.

Here’s the deal: you can trade in ANY working and good condition DAC toward purchase of a PerfectWave DAC and receive the full Original MSRP up to a maximum of $1000 for your trade-in DAC as a credit towards the $2999.99 purchase price of the new PerfectWave DAC.

You can also trade-in ANY working and good condition CD player or transport toward a PerfectWave Transport receiving the full Original MSRP up to a maximum of $1000 for your trade-in as a credit towards the $2999.99 purchase price of the PerfectWave Transport.

And as a special consideration for loyal PS Audio customers we are offering a full $1000 trade-in credit towards a PerfectWave Transport or DAC for ANY PS Audio CD player, transport or DAC, even if it is no longer working properly.

This is a great opportunity to turn over old and devalued digital products for top dollar towards these innovative new PerfectWave products with extensive “future-proofing” built in.

That's a good deal if you're in the market for their products.

Intrigued I went to web the site and watched the product video of the CES footage/overview. Pitched as a music server too I'm not so sure about, I get it though. Slick looking and a touch screen GUI is nice, the iPhone bit is very cool.

Wow. Good deal. I have two old PS Audio Dacs lying around. A diglink and an Ultralink. Sold now they are worth about $250 so $1000 sounds nice!

That's the idea. Our goal is to offer PS Audio owners the maximum return for their product. As you can see you could save a bundle by picking up some of our older stuff on the used market and then trading it in. Another great option is to buy the Digital Link III for $695 on the current promo. You get to enjoy it until the new unit arrives and then you get $1000 credit, thus a $300+ savings!

Is this trade-in program with ANY PS Audio dealer? I got the impression from the newsletter I received from the Cable Company that it was exclusive to them?
