I was looking at moving from Sasha 2 toward the Alexia 1 - and I am told that the DAW is a better choice...

Well I didn't need to hear that! But I doubt I would make that move even if it's better. Love my Alexias.

@cdobson
can you please elaborate more, as to why the DAW should be better than the Alexia? (I own the Sasha 2) Thanks Ran |

I was told that the new drivers and time alignment had been improved to the point that aside from the extended low end, the Sasha DAW would be the better route to go vs Alexia 1. I have an F212 so low end is not a need for me. I look forward to hearing the DAW for myself in three weeks.

This is similar to the things I was told, when asking about differences between the DAW and The Alexia 2.
Both have similar drivers, the Alexia 2 has more options in terms of time alignment (if u need it) and will go a little deeper than the DAW which is mute, if u own a nice Sub. I understand that it's more of a scaled down Wamm rather than an improvement on the Sasha 2, it should be very nice. I guess one could have made the obvious assumption that Wilson will not name a speaker DAW if it wasn't aiming for something super special. Ran |

The Daw is a super speaker. Your comment makes me wondering though about all these efforts in the audio industry since decades to produce bass with composite / polymer / kevlar and so on materials..... to finally go back to PAPER !!! Hum....my Altec woofers are laughing [emoji23].....
