800 Series Prestige Edition
Surely this is extremely desirable - at least for me.
From what I found: Finished in an immaculate Santos Rosewood veneer, the Prestige Edition is Available in 802 D3 and 805 D3 models. The new 800 Series Prestige Edition is designed for connoisseurs of high-performance audio and fine woodwork. With a luxurious Santos Rosewood veneer, the Prestige Edition features the same renowned beauty found in high-end furniture and musical instruments. Bowers & Wilkins celebrates this distinctive wood by using thirteen coats of lacquer to deliver a lustrous finish, with a rich colour and distinctive grain pattern that makes each loudspeaker a unique piece of art. As with all 800 Series Diamond models, the 800 Series Prestige Edition is manufactured to the most exacting standards in the UK, with each unit featuring a unique numbered plate to highlight its exclusivity IMG_9296.JPGIMG_9297.JPGIMG_9299.JPGIMG_9300.JPG |

They really are, I've always loved the rosewood that B&W uses for their speakers, my first nice pair was a set of P6s in rosewood.

No question B&W makes some fine speakers. I owned DB1s, 805D2, 803D2, 802D2 and 800D2's but all were in piano black. Every time I saw them in rosewood, I always wondered if I should have picked that color instead. The new Prestige series look gorgeous in pictures. Considering how beautifully B&W builds the 800 Diamond series, I'm sure they are stunning in the flesh. Can't wait to actually see a pair.

Why not for the 803D3 and 800D3? Is there a price premium on these?
