Coltrane,
Your vintage Super 400 is absolutely gorgeous. You have quite the archtop collection! Having the right archtop in your arms is like having the right woman in your arms. Best, Ken |

Thanks all. During a 7 year hiatus from audio, being a self taught jazz piano player, I began the study of jazz guitar. Instead of buying used audio gear, I switched to buying archtops...I substituted one disease for another. Life is good.
I'm ashamed to say I've acquired some 90 plus, I've actually lost count, archtops over that time...I'm now making a return to discover new trends in audio. Here's a few more of my fav's...a 17" rare Heritage Golden Eagle non cutaway, and that 18" Heritage Super Kenny Burrell I mentioned earlier...too many guitars, too little time and money. I used to think audio was a disease...I discovered archtops are just as infectious, and expensive. |

"Acquired some 90 plus". An obsession, I love it. To have the opportunity to experiment with several dozen makes, models, brands, construction, tone etc, you have been a busy musician. Fantastic, thx for sharing the passion.
